I am adult who has a long history of trouble sleeping. With the covid worries and the political situation, not to mention usual family stuff, I've been struggling to sleep. I purchased this little starry nightlight thing thinking I would enjoy seeing the constellation projected on my ceilings, and would find it soothing. It has really helped! In fact, I love it! It has a rechargeable battery that I charge up every morning. At night I unplug it from the cord and let the battery do its thing. At some point in the night, the battery runs down and the light turns off. I'm asleep by then.
Only just now setting up so this isn't a long-term use review yet. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! I had a light when I was little that you can't find anymore. This is the closest thing I've been able to find like it. Looking at the ocean dancing around the room takes me back. I love this light so much I'm DEFINITELY buying another! I'm beyond happy I found this. My son LOVES it. He has gotten to where I can't leave the room before he's asleep without crying and getting up. I just set it up for him tonight. He didn't cry, get up, or ask me to stay. He just told me he loves me and he LOVES his light. I couldn't be happier. My ONLY complaint is I wish there were more color options for the light itself. I wanted to get an orange one for my nephew, but they only have pink and blue. Overall I never give 5 star reviews. This is well worth every dollar and every star.
I am a groan woman and bought this on a whim and I love it. Its easy to change the slide/images. It comes with a remote and you can adjust the color (white, warm yellowish, blue or changing between them) and the movement with the remote. I've been sleeping with on all night as a night light for my old dog and its just lovely. It projects a fuzzy image on the wall that is about 12 feet from it but there's still an image, which is more powerful then I expected. My only complaint is that I wish they made a more "adult" looking option.
